Sebastian Vettel – One of the Greatest F1 Drivers

Sebastian Vettel is one of the greatest Formula 1 drivers of all time. He’s proven himself over and over again, winning 4 consecutive titles and 11 races during his first two seasons with Red Bull Racing. In 2010, he became the youngest driver ever to win 3 world championships in a row. His achievements speak for themselves!

Sebastian Vettel’s record

Sebastian Vettel’s achievements as a driver are quite impressive. He is the only current Formula One driver to have won four world championships, meaning he has been the best F1 driver in his era. He has won more races than any other driver (51) and is tied for most poles with Michael Schumacher at 68 podiums. Vettel also holds several records for consecutive wins. In 2010, he won nine races straight; this was a record until Nico Rosberg broke it with 10 consecutive wins in 2017-18 season before Lewis Hamilton matched him again in 2019. Another record set by Vettel occurred in 2011 when he clinched pole position 14 times out of 19 race weekends, which is another record that stands to this day

BMW ADAC Championship

As a young man, Vettel won the Formula BMW ADAC Championship. He was only 17 years old at the time, making him the youngest driver ever to win the championship. He was also the first driver to win it in his first attempt and in his very first season of racing.

Vettel’s first season with Red Bull Racing was in 2009. No one could have predicted what would happen when he signed with them later that year.

Vettel won the driver’s championship in 2010, becoming the youngest driver ever to win 4 consecutive titles (Michael Schumacher won 7).

He also became the only person in history to win at least one race per season for seven straight years (2005-2012), breaking Michael Schumacher’s record of six straight seasons with at least one victory.

2013-2015

In 2013, Vettel became the youngest driver ever to win 4 consecutive titles. He won 11 races out of 19 events that year. In 2014, he won 13 races out of 21 events and became the youngest driver to win 5 titles in a row.

In 2015, he won 10 races out of 20 events and was one point behind Lewis Hamilton in the championship after winning 4 races compared to Lewis’ 5 wins. However, Sebastian finished second in points while teammate Kimi Raikkonen finished third; meaning that Ferrari had retained both titles since 2010 (when Alonso won), even though they had failed to win any constructors’ championships since 2008-09 when Felipe Massa finished 1st in drivers’. This was due partially due to Mercedes having an advantage due its hybrid power unit being more efficient than Ferrari’s naturally aspirated engine (which makes up for less horsepower than its rivals).

Teaming with Ferari

While Vettel has yet to win the F1 Driver’s Championship 8 times, he is most certainly one of the greatest formula 1 drivers of all time. He has proven himself as a great driver by winning 4 F1 Driver’s Championships, 5 F1 Driver’s Championships, and 6 F1 Driver’s Championships—and we’re looking forward to what he can accomplish with Ferrari in 2023!

Conclusion

Sebastian Vettel’s record is impressive and his achievements are quite remarkable. There are many things to consider when it comes to ranking him among his peers, but no matter how you look at it, he has certainly earned his spot among the best in motorsports history.
